Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, in order to apply on the transmitter/receiver of high quality and low cost CATV bi-directional radio systems and to integrate high frequency functional devices into rectangular waveguide, we have developed a 40 GHz band low noise frequency down-converter using fin-line mounted in a waveguide. As experimental results, a conversion gain of about 4.5 - 6.2 dB and a noise figure of about 5.8 – 6.1 dB for this proto-type down-converter (included LNA) could be achieved.
