Study on Multi-Channel Receiver based on Polyphase Filter Bank

(in English) Recently, multi-channel aggregation has been developed for example in IEEE802.20 (MBTDD 625k-MC mode) to achieve higher throughput on the legacy wireless system.
To realize such a system, multi-channel Digital Down Converter (DDC) is needed for the receiver.
In a conventional scheme, parallel DDCs were implemented for multi-channel DDC.
However, it results in a higher computational cost.
In this paper, a new circuit architecture of multi-channel DDC based on polyphase filter and DFT filter bank is studied.
By using the proposed architecture, the number of multiplier can be reduced significantly compared with the conventional multi-channel DDC.
