The moment method is effective to analyze the electromagnetic field because the calculation time is shorter than that of the FDTD method. However, we should pay attention to treat the effect of dielectric material. The radiated electromagnetic field from a micro-strip line (MSL) can be calculated to tune the wire radius and to insert the capacitance between wires in frequency range up to 3GHz. However, It has not been cleared whether the method can be applied for higher frequency range and parallel micro-strip line (PMSL). In this report, we apply this method to a PMSL up to 6GHz. The first, the wire grid model for each MSL was determined by using the presented method. Thin wires were inserted between conductors to present the capacitive coupling between conductors of MSL because the FEM analysis suggested that the capacitance between the conductors was negative. The crosstalk between MSLs and the radiated electric field were calculated by using the proposed wire grid model and compared with the measured value and the calculated value using the FDTD method. The investigation indicated that these values well agreed with each other. The results suggest that the radiated electric field from PMSL can be calculated up to six GHz in the time of about 1/60 of the FDTD method by using the method proposed in this report. |
