In recent years, extremely high-reliability systems are desired for inter-vehicle communications. In the environmental of inter-vehicle communications, channel states between transmitter and receiver change intensively, because of the motion of cars in various surroundings. So we have to estimate and utilize the channel state information accurately. In this paper, we have proposed the channel state information scheme for MIMO-STBC systems, using bi-directional decision feedback. In the proposed scheme, inverse decision feedback scheme, in which the past channel states are estimated from present received data, are applied to estimate channel states in addition to ordinary decision feedback scheme, in which the present channel states are estimated from past received data. Those two estimated channel states are compared and the one which is more reliable is used for STBC decoding. Three methods for calculating the reliability of channel state estimation have been proposed and effectiveness of the proposed channel estimation scheme has been made clear through computer simulation results. |
