Space-time adaptive processing (STAP) suppresses the radar clutter by making a use of both temporal and spatial dimension with array antennas. Maximal SNR method is a typical algorithm for calculating the adaptive weights. This algorithm requires the information of the Doppler frequency of the target. Adaptive MTI (moving target indicators) is a one of the clutter suppression filters, which does not require the information of the Doppler frequency of the target. In this report, we propose a space-time adaptive filters that does not require the information of the Doppler frequency of the target. For the main beam direction, this filter has the band elimination characteristics that can suppress the clutter. Adaptive weights are calculated by linearly constrained minimization of power with not stopband constraints but passband constraints. |
