Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, many laboratories explore the EEG-based communication for amyotrophic lateral scherosis (ALS). The goal of the present study is to develop a brain-computer communication supporting system for patients with ataxia such as ALS. I analyzed the brain wave when imagining adduction and abduction movement of the upper limbs. The subject performed the movement image task after performing the movement task. Some tendencies of the whole change were acquired. However, since it is uncertain, future research needs to analyze the pattern from which individual brain waves change.
