In recent years, MIMO-OFDM schemes are regarded as the important wireless communication technologies to realize the reliable communication. Especially, MIMO-STBC-OFDM is the combined scheme that utilizes both the diversity gain of STBC and the OFDM durability against the multipath fading. For decoding STBC signal, the MIMO channel estimation between transmit and receive antennas is needed. In order to improve the error rate performance, the high accuracy channel estimation is required. In this paper, we have proposed the iterative channel estimation scheme using decision feedback in the LDPC coded MIMO-STBC-OFDM system. In the proposed scheme, transmit symbol replicas are generated using LDPC decoded bits which have high reliability, and the channel is estimated iteratively using these reliable replicas. Through computer simulation results, the effectiveness of the proposed channel estimation scheme has been made clear. |
