Non-contact intermodulation measurement for a resonant DUT in a standing wave coaxial tube

(in English) A non-contact measurement method for PIM evaluation is proposed in this paper. This method employs a standing wave coaxial-tube and resonant sample. It excludes a soldering connection for the connection of the device undertest (DUT), which is required for conventional standing wave methods. In addition, a sensitive measurement is achieved using a resonant conductor. The effect of PIM-source size and position is evaluated in this proposed method as a application. Besides, the method is applicable to strip-shaped DUTs. Experimental examinations using commercial PCBs are presented.
