| (in English) | We extracted features of gait from the pressure distribution measured by using sheet-shaped pressure sensor in order to diagnoses quantitatively Parkinson's disease. Features were calculated step length, step time, gait velocity and transition of center of force to foot axis direction. We conducted gait experiments with 6 Parkinson’s disease subjects and elderly 14 normal subjects. The step length and gait velocities calculated in Parkinson’s disease subjects were lower than normal subjects. The step times calculated in 3 Parkinson’s disease subjects were longer than normal subjects, but the step times calculated in other Parkinson’s disease subjects were as long as normal subjects. The transitions of center of force to foot axis direction in the subjects whose step length were small were low. It was shown that it was possible to make a differentiation between Parkinson’s disease subjects and normal subjects by these features. | |
