Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The implementation of the wireless LAN on IEEE802.11DCF (Distributed Coordination Function) operates
the handoff by the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). However, there is no guarantee that the
best AP is selected because it doesn’t consider each wireless BSS(Basic Service Set) traffic and the number of
STA(wireless station). This paper proposed the wireless LAN handoff scheme by RTT Measurement. This scheme
is implemented on the network simulater, and it is confirmed to function effectively. By this scheme, the detection
time of degradation in state of BSS is reduced and by the implovement of load-balancing of STAs, sustainment and
fairness of effective throughput can be established.
