Identification of User's Interested Areas based on Eye Fixation Duration and BVP Height during Web Browsing

(in English) This paper describes an analysis technique to identify user’s interested areas on a Web page by analyzing eye-tracking data and BVP (Blood Volume Pulse) during Web browsing. We represent that eye fixation duration becomes longer, pupil diameter becomes bigger, and BVP amplitude height becomes smaller in the interested areas. We determine the thresholds for each biological data. Moreover, we identify interested areas when biological data are over the thresholds. BVP amplitude height is effective biological data to detect interested areas. Therefore, to analysis BVP and eye-tracking data is able to identify more reliable interested areas than to analysis only eye-tracking data.
