A Control Alogrithm for Multi-Car Elevators by Considering Moving Range and Direction of Cars

(in English) Recently, it is required to improve elevator's transportation with the increasing of multistory building. Multi car elevator with more than
two cars in one shaft can be considered as one of the resolutions meeting this requirement. When multi car elevetor is supposed to be used,
there is a problem how to resolve the collision of cars in one shaft, which never occurs in normal elevators. In this paper, giving avoiding
collision of cars the highest priority, we propose a method of assigning calls by considering call directions and zone assignment.
