Development of A Real Time Renderer for Cyberscapes of Edo

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) We have developed a real time renderer for cyberscapes of “Edo”. The target area of this renderer is 5.24 kilo square meters around of Nihonbashi, including over ten thousand objects. Our renderer can render such very complicated scenes with stable frame rate. We also discuss about acceleration techniques such as Octree data structures and instancing technique.
