The sulcal extraction from MRI data of patients with brain tumor for medical support

(in English) In spite of medical image processing such as Computer Aided Diagnosis is developed, any support for brain tumor patients by image processing have been insufficient yet. As the reason of the mentioned above, it is difficult to extract the structure of the brain in the case of patient image data, because the shape of patient brain is different from normal one caused by the pressure of tumor.
In our study, an efficient extraction method of sulcal from patients image data with tumor is proposed, and it is seen that the sulcal position in the patient brain image can be specified based on shape of the white matter.
