A Study on Information Interflow Networks using LDPC Codes

(in English) Recently, multihop communications have gained much attention.
Both bandwidth- and energy-efficient communications are highly required
in multihop communications since the available bandwidth and battery
are strictly limited. Therefore, both error correcting codes and
automatic repeat request are essential for multihop communications.
If the error correcting code is used, by using the longer codeword, the
decoding error probability of error correcting code can be improved.
Therefore, in this paper, we propose the "information interflow
network (I2N)", which transmits some data packets from other
terminals as one longer data packet and show that the proposed network
with low-density parity check (LDPC) codes can improve the throughput
performance compared with the conventional multihop network.
