A Cognitive Radio Transmission Scheme without the Carrier Frequency Information

(in English) Recently, Cognitive Radio (CR) systems has been actively studied due to the limitation of available radio frequency resource. One of the major challenging issues in CR systems is to formulate a new frequency assignment among the licensed systems. This paper proposes a novel data transmission scheme, called SDST (Self DeSpreadable Transmission). SDST makes transmission of low rate information possible without carrier frequency negotiation between transmitter and receiver. Based on our former experimental measurements, signals from other systems are emulated in the computer simulations for the evaluation of SDST. From the result we confirmed that SDST can be successfully employed even under the severe interference by configuring the SDST design parameters.
