| (in English) | This paper proposes a novel ad-hoc routing protocol for supporting ad-hoc networks in which mobile computers move with high speed and high frequency. It is assumed that a location acquisition device such as a GPS receiver is installed into each mobile computer. In the proposed method, a wireless multihop transmission route consists of not a sequence of mobile computers as in conventional ad-hoc routing protocols but a sequence of locations where data messages are forwarded by mobile computers. The mobile computers nearest to the locations specified in the wireless multihop message transmission route serve a role of intermediate mobile computer and forward data messages. A designed protocol in this paper is based on DSR, one of well-known source routing ad-hoc protocols. Results of simulation experiments show that the proposed protocol achieves averagely 60.5\% longer lifetime of wireless multihop transmission routes than DSR with random way point mobility. The achieved performance improvement is higher in environments with higher density of mobile computers, with higher mobility and with longer multihop transmission routes. |
