Hierarchical clustering of time series using Recurrent neural network

(in English) There are some difficulties for the unsupervised learning of time series data such as unknown boundary information, its stretching property and so forth. In this report, unsupervised learning algorithm of time series boundaries using recurrent neural network is examined. Moreover, hierarchically connection of such neural network makes it possible to learn time series data in unsupervised manner. We believe that such framework will be core part of the learning and recognition system for time series, which can flexibly adapt its surrounding environment. We show the validity of the proposed unsupervised boundary learning algorithm using pseudo speech signal.
