| (in English) | We investigate analytically and numerically the processes with mobile sensors which move randomly on a infinite region and share their information if they are close enough to communicate. We find that distributions of information-gathering time generally become single peak distributions whose tails decay with power laws. We estimate the power-law exponent of the tail in order to analyze whether the processes achieve successful or efficient information-gathering with varying the dimension of space and the number of sensors. As the results, information-gathering is successful in one and two dimensions, while unsuccessful in equal or more than three dimensions. Furthermore, in one dimension, the efficiency of information-gathering is highly improved as the number of sensors increases. In two dimension, on the other hand, the efficiency is not so obvious. | |
