Recently, some crimes have been committed through the use of stolen uniforms. We have proposed a security system to prevent the crime. In this paper, we investigate the human body communication method to detect taking off the uniform. In this method, two electrodes facing the human body are mounted the uniform. We can detect wearing the uniform by the electric current passing through the body. As a fundamental experiment, we performed to measure the characteristic of the current by this method. Through this study, the detection of taking off the uniform was confirmed. Furthermore, it was also confirmed that the phase of the current passing through the body shifts against the input current, and the shift changes in time.
