This paper describes foreground segmentation approach for a Pan-Tilt Camera. The approach expands Gaussian mixture models with Walsh spectrums for fixed camera.[1] Our method introduces camera movement by POC[2] into foreground segmentation. In addition, novel Gaussian mixture models are constructed in new areas appeared by camera movement. These models enable detecting foreground regions immediately. Experimental results show the effectiveness of proposed method in video sequence by a Pan-Tilt Camera. |
