[Poster Presentation] Demosaicing According to Edge Information Based on Frequency Band Partition

(in English) In this paper, we propose a new demosaicing method that interpolates RAW images in a Bayer pattern. As horizontal and vertical edge-classifiers, previous works utilize the gradients, the Laplacian operator, or the Jacobian, and then, they interpolate the green image along the selected direction. In our proposal, we classify the edges horizontally and vertically using Sobel operator in low frequency domain and Fast Fourier transform (FFT) in high frequency domain. And because G channel of RAW image is subsampled in every pixel, we propose the filtering along with the diagonal direction.
