Convergence Analysis of Active Noise Control System for Sinusoidal Reference Signals

(in English) Convergence analyses are presented for the Filtered-X LMS (FXLMS) algorithm with sinusoidal reference signals in the case where the observational noise is present at the error microphone.
Since the effect of the secondary path is significant, the FXLMS algorithm is employed.
Using the state-space representation of the linear system describing the FXLMS algorithm,
we show that the convergence speed depends on the largest eigenvalue of the corresponding state transition matrix.
Then, in the steady state, we derive the spectral density and the covariance matrix of the tap error vector.
Finally, computer simulations are conducted to see the validities of the obtained theoretical results.
