| (in English) | At low frequency as 50Hz to 200Hz, arc doesn’t depend on the frequency so much but arc is extinguished by larger gap. Therefore the separating speed is measured, this experiment is discussed the arc duration, the arc voltage and current by R.Holm’s V-I characteristic of the arc. The experiment was conducted at 50Hz because arc interruption depends on gap length in low frequency from the results of the experiment. The author considered that the power supply voltage changes over time in AC, it is found that theoretical value corresponds with experimental value. As the result, not only in DC, but in AC availability of R.Holm’s V-I characteristic is verified. | |
