Efficiency Verification of the Improved PayWord Micropayment Scheme

(in English) Adachi et al. pointed out vulnerability of misuse of credential by user in the well-known PayWord micropayment scheme and proposed an improved scheme preventing this attack. Also we have proposed an efficient improved PayWord micropayment scheme by substituting MAC operation for RSA operation in bank’s user identification of the Adachi et al.’s scheme and also generating an extended hash chain. In this paper we implement our improved PayWord scheme and Adachi et al.’s scheme and evaluate their computational time and communication time.Obtained results show both of computational time and communication time are reduced without degrading security of the proposed scheme.
