A Hodgkin-Huxley Model Approach to Analysis of Electrical Response of a Nerve Cell due to EMF

(in English) This paper describes a method of analyzing biological effects of electromagnetic field (EMF) on a nerve cell using a Hodgkin-Huxley model, which has been widely accepted for understanding how nerve membrane responses. Also, as a way to measure the complex dynamical response of this model, this paper uses the KS-entropy, which is an effective tool for objective assessment of randomness of signals. Evaluations confirm that the proposed method can simulate the responses of a nerve cell exposed to external EMF.
