Characteristic Analysis of Delivery Tree on P2P Streaming

(in English) Recently, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) streaming is widespread, and a variety of delivery tree construction techniques have been proposed. On P2P streaming, since the delivery load is distributed among peers, an efficient data delivery is achieved. However, the forwarding delay and the link delay in relaying data are problems. Moreover, the deterioration of video playing quality and the increase of network load caused by the disconnections of relaying peers are also concerned. These problems can be reduced by making delivery tree in consideration of the number of hops and viewing time, etc. We analyze the characteristics of the delivery tree by computer simulation when some metrics are changed.
