Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Bioelectromagnetic inverse problem is one of the primal issues in the analysis of noninvasive bioelectromagnetic measurements like MEG and EEG. It is an estimation of current source distribution in the brain given measured data. We introduce an estimation method suitable for sparse sources. The method assures correct reconstruction of any point-source in vector fields. It is an extension of conventional weighted $\ell_1$-norm minimization to appropriately evaluate vector fields, and can be expressed as an second order cone programming. Correct reconstruction of point-sources with the proposed method is mathematically proved, and numerical comparison between the proposed and conventional method is shown.
