(in English) In this paper, we demonstrate a 320Gb/s (40Gb/s x 8 wavelengths) multi-wavelength optical packet switching node with a contention resolution mechanism using PLZT switches in order to verify its feasibility. Multi-wavelength optical packet switching (MW-OPS) is one class of optical packet switching architectures, on which a single payload is encoded into multiple payloads. Ooptical packets containing such payloads are switched with optical switches independent of wavelengths. This characteristics allow the number of optical devices in a MW-OPS node to be independent of the number of wavelengths. The experimental result of the demonstration showed the feasibility.
