Optical measurements of responses to light and electrical stimuli in the mouse visual cortex.

(in English) We conducted optical measurement of the mouse visual cortex activity in vivo using voltage-sensitive dye (VSD). The VSD signal in the visual cortex in response to light and electrical stimuli was observed. Flash light applied to contralateral eye induced focal activation in the visual cortex V1 in accord with the retinotopic map. Intracortical electrical stimulation delivered to V1 induced propagating activity to V2.
