Extensions of Supporting Function in the Learning Management System "NOBASU"

(in English) We have independently developed and managed the LMS (Learning Management System) called ”NOBASU” (NetwOrk-Based Assistant System for University education) to support educational activities of teachers and students in our department to improve services while reducing their loads. In this paper, in addition to conventional class supporting functions, we propose three out-of-class educational activity supporting functions in the recruiting, the research activity, and the graduate seminar for NOBASU. We implement various functions to reduce the communication loads in the recruiting for the recruiting supporting function, to help the file sharing and the schedule management for the research activity supporting function, and to encourage the research presentations for the graduate seminar supporting function. Through the questionnaire to users of these functions, we show their effectiveness.
