The outline and in-orbit demonstration of ETS-VIII

(in English) The ETS-VIII is the Japanese Engineering Test Satellite for mobile satellite communications and satellite positioning technology demonstrations, and installs two large deployable reflectors (LDR). The ETS-VIII was launched on December 18th, 2006 and successfully deployed the two reflectors in orbit. The In-orbit demonstrations and experiments of ETS-VIII have been conducting now. This paper describes the overviw of ETS-VIII and it's demonstrations and experiments.
