We demonstrate a compact polymer-based photonic switch with low power operation of 9mW. This compact polymer switch exhibits a low switching crosstalk of -23dB with an MMI device length of 510m. Additional simulations have shown the ability to reduce the theoretical power consumption to less than 4mW with crosstalk less than -40dB. |
