Electromagnetic interference of frequency band be used by IEEE802.11g for wireless LAN (Local Aria Network) is very serious problems. In this study, we evaluate electromagnetic interference characteristics of wireless LAN by using Opened-PW (parallel wired) cell that is set in a radio anechoic chamber. Recently, the 10MHz and 5MHz wireless LAN systems that narrow the frequency bandwidth of the desired signal have been developing in order to improve problems due to the electromagnetic interference and increase the number of channel so that many systems can use at same place and same time. This time we used their new wireless LAN systems for this Evaluation. As a result, it is revealed that 10MHz and 5MHz wireless LAN systems can improve PER characteristics than the usual wireless LAN system with the channel spacing of 20MHz, and when impressing the interference wave with the wide bandwidth such as the wireless LAN IEEE802.11b, and PER characteristics of all wireless LAN systems with the channel spacing of 20MHz, 10MHz or 5MHz deteriorate than that when impressing the interference wave with the narrow bandwidth that is modulated by AM (Amplitude Modulation) specified by IEC/EN 61000-4-3. |
