Home energy management service using ICT

(in English) In recent years,energy consumption at homes continues to increase. Technologies to reduce such consumption are widely discussed for the global warming prevention. In this paper, we will report on the result of the proposal of a new low cost energy management service that uses Iinformation and Communication Technology (ICT) ,referring to the Home Energy Management System (HEMS) demonstration by NEDO. We also describe evaluation results of our prototype system.
