A Study on Assignment Problem of Eigenvectors in Multiple Talker Tracking

(in English) We have proposed the method of tracking for single talker using PAST and IPLS algorithm. In a case of multiple talker tracking, the order of eigenvectors estimated by this method are often replaced in different time-frequency region. This make us difficult to separate and localize each source. Moreover, appropriate setting of initial value for IPLS algorithm is disturbed by the silent section or sparseness of speech signals. To avoid such problems, we propose the assignment method of eigenvectors in appropriate order, and the method for setting the suitable initial value of IPLS. Several numerical results and experimental results in actual room environment are shown to present effectiveness of the proposed method.
