Laser processing technique is popularly used in the photovoltaic and flat panel display industries. The quality improvement of the processing form and higher speed fabrication will be expected by condensed top-hat laser beam shape. We developed resin and silica cladding square core fibers and show that their condensed beam patterns become uniform top-hat shape. In addition, we evaluated mechanical characteristics and laser durability with optical connectors. |
