Evaluation of Electromagnetic Field Measurement over Two-Dimensional Communication Media with Anti-Reflection Edged

(in English) This paper presents a novelty two-dimensional (2D) communication media, which allows a surface to provide signal and energy transmissions to devices that are placed on top of it. The electromagnetic propagation inside the 2D sheet can produce a standing wave, which is a resultant of the reflected waves and the original wave. To diminish the effect of standing wave, we use an anti-reflection edged. In this paper, we investigate the electromagnetic field characteristic of 2D communication media, in which the edges or sides of 2D sheet are conjoined with the anti-reflection edged. To avoid the risk of causing measurement accuracies and ambiguities, all the experiments are conducted inside an anechoic room. Measurement results reveal that the average magnetic field strength drops about 8% and 18% for the 3-edged and 4-edged 2D sheet, respectively.
