By the Niigata Chuetsu earthquake generated in 2004, 10 Pulmonary embolism (PE) was reported, and 3 people of those died. In addition, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was accepted to 30.4% of the person of object in investigation performed within two weeks when earthquake outbreak. PE is caused primarily by DVT. Because of these factors, necessity of the early detection of the DVT rises. When DVT occurred, venous blood obstructed a flow concentrates on epibiosis vein. Therefore burdens to the vein increase, and the expansion of the blood vessel is predicted. Near-Infrared ray (wavelength : 780nm) which it is easy to penetrate skin, and absorbed by deoxyhemoglobin. Therefore We built the epibiosis vein imaging device which We used Near-Infrared ray (wavelength : 780nm) and examined the use to Deep vein thrombosis risk evaluation.
