Water-Color-Like Painting for real picture

(in English) There have proposed several techniques which convert real photographs into pictrial art. Among various painting styles, this paper focuses on water-color paintings, and proposes an algorithm that generates water-color-like images from real photographs. The algorithm tries to realize features of water-color paintings by using some fundamental image processing techniques, some of which include a quantization of a color space, morphological operations, the distance transformation, alpha blending, and an edge superposition. The algorithm can simply generate water-color-like images.
