In order to validate a test site for EMI measurement, the Normalized Site Attenuation (NSA) measurement is required using a pair of antennas with the correction factor reducing variation of antenna factor caused by ground reflection and mutual coupling between antennas. The factor should be defined to every antenna because it depends on load impedance seen at antenna fed point looking towards an attachment circuit like a balun even if the antenna elements have identical structures. In this report, the correction factor for NSA is calculated using the method of moment for a pair of tuned dipole antennas of which the load impedance is 100 The effectiveness of the factor is validated experimentally. |
