We developed heat-resistant optical fiber sensor cable, exhibiting excellent sensitivity to local strain variations. By installing the temperature compensation cable along the heat-resistant sensor cable, we can obtain the strain due to pipe tinning with high accuracy in high temperature environment conditions. The strain measurements acquired by means of the cable was used in 3D structural analysis, allowing us to detect pipeline wall thinning with high accuracy. |
