In this study, we propose an energy-saving method that reduces the waiting power to receive by intermittent relaying nodes operation. We reveal the relationship between parameters, the number of relaying nodes at the area which can communicate a sensor node, the distance between relaying nodes, and the operation rate of relaying nodes. And we propose a routing method which is suitable for intermittent relaying node operation. We simulate the routing method and intermittent relaying node operation at the gird-type network topology. Then we reveal the feasibility of sensor networks which can reduce the power consumption of networks. |
