| (in English) | Multicast communication is used for multimedia contents services with small impact on both network traffic and server load. Recently, demand on application level multicast(ALM) is increasing because it is easy to manage and control whole multicast system by its users. We are focusing on PeerCast which is an implementation of ALM for multimedia streaming. PeerCast is useful enough for basic streaming applications, but its algorithm of construction of routing tree is not nice and PeerCast isn't capable to switch routing dynamically without loss of data. We are working on improvement on PeerCast to design and implement a function on dynamic autonomous distributed connection switching on multicast routing. We already presented basic part of our work in last year. In this research, extensions and improvements for proposed method and its results are shown. |
