An Interpretation of Behavior Locus using A Moving Vector Transformation Space
Yohei Kubo, Jun'ichi Yamaguchi (Kagawa Univ.) PRMU2008-99
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Moving object tracking and analysis of locus are useful for measurement of human (analysis of flow of shopper, rehabilitation aid), fluid analysis, weather forecast and so on. The authors propose a tracking data which shows a locus of moving object by a characteristic and simple pattern. The tracking data is made by a transformation of a moving vector of the object. The data show a monotonous behavior at a local coordinate in the tracking space, when the object moves geometrically in real space. Using this model, it is possible to estimate a type of a partial locus of movement deterministically in real space. According to this method, it is easy to interpret the locus continuously and it is possible to reappear the movement of the object using the interpretation result. In this paper, the method is explained and a result of an experiment using the images of human movement is shown.
