A Simple Sound Intensity Measurement System for Predicting Sound Power Level of Products in Making Field

(in English) In our previous paper, a procedure for sound power determination based on minimum measurement data is theoretically and experimentally discussed. Consequently, it is possible to reconstruct only parts of the system emitting the most noise and measure efficiently the sound power level. This paper provides experimental verification, under two types of systematic reflection conditions in a manufacturing field for a vacuum cleaner, of certain analyses for calculating errors in sound power measurement that use the two-microphone cross-spectral method. From the experimental results, it can be found that each difference between ISO9614-1 (PWL; 24 points) and the sound power determined from the proposed minimum measurement data of yields in the low range(315-500Hz) of under 1dB, in mid-frequency range(500-2000Hz) of under 1.9dB.
