Order threshold (OT) represents a minimum time interval that is necessary for subject to be able to indicate the correct temporal order between two stimuli. In this paper, to short a time of measurement, the response OT [ms] of two-pulse stimuli was used a five-points psychological scale. First, a psychometric logistic model (parameters: M of the midpoint and S of the spread) was developed in different sensory modalities. From the results, it can be said that the sensitivities of auditory (M=28.8ms) and tactile (M=29.1ms) are better than the visual (M=39.4ms). Second, the prediction method of OT [ms] based on the regression lines between the psychological scale and the value of OT has been developed. To verify each model proposed, the experiment has been carried out. From the results, it can be said that the models proposed is useful for shortening the statistical measurement times. |
