Measurement of Aerobic Capacity Using Pattern Light Projection

(in English) In the exercise equipment development, it is desired to install the auto-control function of the optimum exercise intensity. We proposed the method for conveniently specifying the optimum exercise intensity. In the proposal method, the respiration under pedal stroke motion is measured without contact by the image technique using the pattern light projection.
In this paper, the decision of the individual aerobic capacity by proposal method was tried, and the validity was verified by simultaneous experiment with the expiration gas analyzer. As the result, there was the correlation on the measurement result between the proposal method and the expiration gas analyzer.
