Recently, massively parallel computers with many nodes appears. They aim at achieving high performance by increasing of the number of computation nodes.
Therefore the communication performance between computation nodes becomes an important problem.
We have proposed routing algorithm ``Cross-Line'', which uses global information for this problem. It performs considerable communication performance enhancement.
Because this routing algorithm was designed to use the shortest paths, we can expect a performance enhancement by excluding this limitation.
In this research, the technique that could take the non-minimal route based on the Cross-Line routing was examined, and the effect of the detour that used global area information with the interconnection network simulator was confirmed.
As a result, it was able to be confirmed to maintain the performance in the communication to which the circumference had become empty even if crowding was generated, and clarified the effectiveness of the detour that used global area information. |
