(in English) We propose a burst-mode CDR (Clock and Data Recovery) with a novel structure, which involves a gated oscillator to generate multi-phase clocks on the basis of oversampling method. The multi-phase clocks locked to incoming pulse edges allows the reduction in the number of the multi-phase clocks by half, however both of the maximum error in decision phase and the tolerance to pulse-width distortion hold those in the CDR with a conventional oversampling structure. The reduction in the number of multi-phase clocks enables the burst-mode CDR for 10Gbps optical access systems to be easily designed by the current silicon technology.
